I think everyone had a "Darrin Hudson" in their lives. Darrin Hudson was in my high school, back in Marlboro, NJ. You know, that person that you had to one-up all the time. Didn't matter what it was: Gear, hair, grades, sports, whatever...it was ON. Well for Darrin and I...it was kicks. Plain and simple. Oddly enough, in a school with over 1000 kids, me and him were the only 2 really into sneakers back then. This is my blog dedicated to Darrin. This is to tell Darrin that I'm still out there, and if he wants to battle, here it is son!! Bring it!! I've since lost touch with Darrin, but thanks to him, you all get to check out the kicks I have amassed over the years. So it is here, that I will archive every pair of shoes I own. It’ll include detailed photos, a grading system, a little tidbit behind each one and every single one will be available for purchase. (Simply POST A COMMENT with your offer). Some other little goodies sprinkled throughout also. Even if I updated a different shoe every week, it would take me about 3 years to complete this project. So sit back and enjoy! The project begins January 1st, 2006...

RAINBOW.

Thanks to Chris at Nort Berlin for facilitating these kicks for me. It was tough to narrow this pack down to my top 3, but these are the ones I went with. Chris threw in a Nort 5950 for good measure. What really intrigues me is the one box that the Grayscales came in. It's like the old school Red/Blk/Kraft Nike box but with some weird ass label on the side. Very peculiar. Can anyone shed light?

We get new shoes in that old school box to the store sometimes. My guess is that they just randomly find old boxes in the factories. I've never been to one but I can imagine how ridiculously many boxes every factory stores.

Wovens are the best too, I want all of those!

i got a pair of womens euro 97s in that box. totally legit shoes, but i swore that box was bootleg. real shady printing right? fonts all weird and shit?

it skeeved me out, but i guess thats how nike does when im sure theyve got a billion leftovers of that box. its reassuring seeing someone else get a box like that.

Hi,

We were lucky enough to delve into the HTM vault a year and a half ago, as the pile began the slink these ‘old style’ boxes started to come in.
In the months after that I received al kinds of stuff in those boxes; laser desmonds, mazes and smiths, some af1 QS release, strange stuff…

It did my head in for a while but I think they have something like an ‘old haunted production line’ which they use now and then to freak out basically anybody who is into sneakers!

Love the blog!
