I think everyone had a "Darrin Hudson" in their lives. Darrin Hudson was in my high school, back in Marlboro, NJ. You know, that person that you had to one-up all the time. Didn't matter what it was: Gear, hair, grades, sports, whatever...it was ON. Well for Darrin and I...it was kicks. Plain and simple. Oddly enough, in a school with over 1000 kids, me and him were the only 2 really into sneakers back then. This is my blog dedicated to Darrin. This is to tell Darrin that I'm still out there, and if he wants to battle, here it is son!! Bring it!! I've since lost touch with Darrin, but thanks to him, you all get to check out the kicks I have amassed over the years. So it is here, that I will archive every pair of shoes I own. It’ll include detailed photos, a grading system, a little tidbit behind each one and every single one will be available for purchase. (Simply POST A COMMENT with your offer). Some other little goodies sprinkled throughout also. Even if I updated a different shoe every week, it would take me about 3 years to complete this project. So sit back and enjoy! The project begins January 1st, 2006...

AKA+.

Allen who is Creative Director of AKA dropped by for a few minutes. Remember the days of 12oz. Prophet Magazine? He was responsible for that as well. This dude doesn't like to do wack shit it seems, cuz everything he puts out is golden.

Speaking of gold, the beautiful apocalyptic version of Jacob The Jeweler, none other than Jules of Bijules stopped by to tape us for some project she has in the works with a cable tv network. Don't mess with that ill 5-finger gold ring!

And while we're on the topic of "golden touches"; peep the upcoming issue of Complex Magazine. It features none other Hiroshi as the main Shot Caller du Jour. If you remember a couple of months ago, yours truly did the interview while on our snowboarding trip in Japan. I like the way it came out. They chopped up my words, but at least everything is accurate. I think....I guess HF will tell us otherwise...

Hey wassup jeff, I had copped a red alist chinatown tee in a medium a couple of days ago and I had wanted to exchange it for the black one after I had seen, but the only thing is I misplaced the receipt so I was wondering if you would be able to help me out with this problem. Lol I just wanted to exchange the red for the black in the same size that I had bought it. Please email me back at jeentwon@tmail.com letting me know. Thanks a lot man.

Not a huge fan of Complex Mag, but when I saw Hiroshi Fujiwara on the cover I had to pick it up. Pretty kool article on HF, straight-forward and to the point. He comes off as being real kool and mad Humble considering what he has contributed to Street Culture. I would love to hear him DJ a 90's hip-hop, rock and funk set. So let me know if he'll be spinning anywhere anytime soon....like maybe a HTM/Staple launch @ ReedSpace;-).
