I think everyone had a "Darrin Hudson" in their lives. Darrin Hudson was in my high school, back in Marlboro, NJ. You know, that person that you had to one-up all the time. Didn't matter what it was: Gear, hair, grades, sports, whatever...it was ON. Well for Darrin and I...it was kicks. Plain and simple. Oddly enough, in a school with over 1000 kids, me and him were the only 2 really into sneakers back then. This is my blog dedicated to Darrin. This is to tell Darrin that I'm still out there, and if he wants to battle, here it is son!! Bring it!! I've since lost touch with Darrin, but thanks to him, you all get to check out the kicks I have amassed over the years. So it is here, that I will archive every pair of shoes I own. It’ll include detailed photos, a grading system, a little tidbit behind each one and every single one will be available for purchase. (Simply POST A COMMENT with your offer). Some other little goodies sprinkled throughout also. Even if I updated a different shoe every week, it would take me about 3 years to complete this project. So sit back and enjoy! The project begins January 1st, 2006...

so, time passes.... it's been years... years and years and years since the 5th Platoon shirt was the staple of STAPLE. word. what's up Jeff?! DJ Kuttin Kandi here, givin you a shout! how you been? been a long time hasn't it?
hmm... what's been up with me? well, i just got married last month and im movin to San Diego in 2 weeks... haha! but word, i'm still djin and doin my thing. but i've been needing to get away from nyc for a minute. still with the 5p crew.. not sure if you still keep in touch with neil or dog.. but we're still together. they both just got back from china. as you know neil is definitely blowin up all over with his cds.
so how did i fall upon your blog after all these years, you wonder eh?
call me late in the game... but i am now an official sneakerfiend. can't quite call myself a sneakerhead yet... nah, that would be my husband. yeah my husband has been collecting sneakers since he was like 7. he has about over 300 sneakers... not as large as some folks up on the sneakerboards. i'm only at 40 kicks. anyway, i was never a sneakerhead... actually i banned like nike for 6 years... word. haha. and then here comes along my husband.. buying me a sneaker here for my birthday, then for xmas, then for valentines day.. and then sooner or later it just kept comin' any plain ol day.. and then i started fiending them.. and needing them... and wanting them.. and then dreaming them. hahaha. soon.. i was just like my husband. standing on lines.... well. i try not to stand on any line. but to get a sneaker you really want without hookups or connections when it's really limited... it's hard!
so then. i never realized. i knew folks in the game already. heh. that would be neal.. and that would be you. of course, it had to be you. but... i'm not reachin out for hooks up.. unless hmm you still got some pidgeons on you for sale? haha. seriously... on the really i did not know. sheesh.. how late am i at this! i still got mad catchin up to do... still a lot to learn.. still a lot i dont know.. a lot of sneakers i missed out on...
well now that i'm movin out to SD, i've got some plans in mind actually... in about 2 years or so i plan to open up a little recordshop/sneaker store... hmm.. so i'm sure by then i definitely want to link up with you then!
anyway im just ramblin.. thought id give you a shout and hope that you would hit me back... on the email.. kuttinkandi@aol.com. would be dope to hear from you..
