I think everyone had a "Darrin Hudson" in their lives. Darrin Hudson was in my high school, back in Marlboro, NJ. You know, that person that you had to one-up all the time. Didn't matter what it was: Gear, hair, grades, sports, whatever...it was ON. Well for Darrin and I...it was kicks. Plain and simple. Oddly enough, in a school with over 1000 kids, me and him were the only 2 really into sneakers back then. This is my blog dedicated to Darrin. This is to tell Darrin that I'm still out there, and if he wants to battle, here it is son!! Bring it!! I've since lost touch with Darrin, but thanks to him, you all get to check out the kicks I have amassed over the years. So it is here, that I will archive every pair of shoes I own. It’ll include detailed photos, a grading system, a little tidbit behind each one and every single one will be available for purchase. (Simply POST A COMMENT with your offer). Some other little goodies sprinkled throughout also. Even if I updated a different shoe every week, it would take me about 3 years to complete this project. So sit back and enjoy! The project begins January 1st, 2006...

THE HARDWARE.

So the 2nd season of NRF has come to a close. Congrats to Team Generation for repeating as NRF champs! That only means one thing: As the champs, they get to have one catered night all to themselves in the Nike 255 ID Space. The whole team gets to make a team colorway of an AF1 Low which means there will only be 10 of those in existence.

Speaking of hardware, check out my belt buckle which was custom made as a gift to me from Osa of Complete Technique and Jerry from Staple. I've had it for quite some time now but it recently needed a touch up and repair. Shit is lookin brand new now. Thanks Osa...

Also got some fresh ass softwares as well this past week.
Nike recently made these customized "O"fficial Soccer team jerseys. I've seen a stash/nort one but I'm not exactly sure who else got blessed with one. Anyway, the Staple/Team USA one just walked in the front door. We got #97, which was the year Staple was founded. OH shit, next year is the 10th anniversary of Staple! Wonder if I should, do something special for it.......

And finally, good lookin out to EDC and Kevin from Clot who sent me this dope package. A Clot x Lacoste Polo Shirt and their recent Levi's Union Rail collaboration. (I love it when designs have a deeper meaning that goes beyond just the product.) These are guys are really raising the bar out there in HK/China. Bigger things to come for sure.

Man, it's really too bad that Lacoste (or CLOT for that matter) won't be selling that shirt to the general public. That might be one of the best collabos of all time. You are a lucky lucky man Jeff.
