VAEL.

Its funny how the world works. I met Coleman Horn about a year ago at MAGIC. We shared a client. His company was doing the product development and we were doing the identity design. When we met with the client, Coleman was like "Don't you do Staple Design?" And I was like, "you founded Medium Footwear?!" (Medium was always one footwear brand I had my eye on. Really loved their take on footwear design.) So we both clicked and got a long right away. Fast forward a year and Coleman is out of Medium and is back in the kitchen creating some new footwear designs. Glad to see it too because from what I can see, he has something really different and interesting: VAEL PROJECT.
Imagine if Timberland and Arcteryx had a love child. It might look like this.
世の中は狭いです。僕がコールマン・ホーン氏に出会ったのは一年前のMAGICです。僕たちには共通のクライアントがいました。彼の会社は商品開発をやっていて、僕たちはブランディングをやっていました。コールマンは僕に「ステープルデザインの？」そして、僕は「あのミディアムフットウェアを創設した。。。」と彼に聞いたのがはじまりです。（ミディアムは前から注目していたブランドで、彼らのフットウェアのデザインが特に好きでした。）そんなこんなで、すぐに仲良くなりました。そして、一年が過ぎ、コールマンはミディアムを抜け、フットウェアデザインに再び取り掛かっています。彼がやっていることは個性があって独創的です：VAEL PROJECT。TimberlandとArcteryxをかけたらこんな感じになるでしょう。
