PIGEON NEW BALANCE 575.

You don't know how good it feels that I can finally speak publicly about this project. New Balance and Staple Design have been working on this collaboration for over a year now. It was hard to keep it under wraps because I was so amped about it. But as you know, I don't want to give out any information until everything is absolutely firmed up. There's been much speculation in recent months but I am happy to be able to lay out the facts finally.

Here are the latest details. (As with any of these collaborations, some information is subject to change.) The global release date is August 6th, 2008. I mentioned in the Sneaker Freaker interview that there will be about 800 pairs worldwide but the actual number is now LESS. We're talking about 650 globally. My goal was to make this release a little more accessible and try to actually get shoes on people's feet!
